Writing Coaching Package

Services Include:
  • Weekly Coaching Sessions: These one-on-one, 60-minute coaching sessions allow client and coach to dissect writing challenges the client faces. The coach also uses each session to help the writer improve in a specific capacity. For example, week one's focus may be "how to create relatable characters" while week two's topic is "tips on developing a compelling plot" and "the importance of crafting realistic dialogue" is analyzed during week three.  
  • Monthly Critiques: To ensure the client follows a consistent writing schedule, towards the end of each month, the client sends their coach what they've written for that month. The coach serves as their Critique Partner by providing them with a thorough analysis of what they've written.
  • Editing: After the client completes the first draft of their manuscript, their coach provides them with a substantive edit of their manuscript, which analyzes plot, story structure, character development, world-building, and theme. 
  • Professional Author Website: The coach creates the author's professional website, which includes a professional headshot (provided by Bayou Daydreamer Studios), a blog, and an author email address. The author email address is where the author receives writing-related inquiries and fan mail.   
  • Website Management: The coach manages the author's website by updating its blog weekly and responding to fan comments that appear on the site. 
  • Social Media Management: The coach uses the newly created author email address to create an author Instagram account for the client and update the account with three posts weekly as a way of building the new author's fanbase.
Cost: $2,000/Month 
Payment is due on the 3rd of each month. 

Ghostwriting

Service Description:
  • Your Idea Becomes a Book: After providing your Bayou Daydreamer ghostwriter with your idea for a fictional story, they weave your idea into a manuscript of 40,000 words, which is generally about 125 pages. Your name appears in the byline, and you receive sole credit as the story's author.  
  • Timeline: After providing the ghostwriter with your idea, it takes approximately twelve weeks for the ghostwriter to complete the manuscript. 
  • A longer manuscript: Authors may make a special request for a manuscript of 60,000 words, which is generally about 200 pages in length. This longer manuscript requires approximately sixteen weeks to complete at an additional fee of $3,000. 
Turnaround Time: Approximately Twelve Weeks
Cost: $12,000/40,000 words
